Professional/Academic Experience

I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and have lived and worked in various cities in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio before moving to Colorado in 2007.  I have worked in the private sector as an administrative manager in manufacturing, chemical sales, and in the medical field.  For eight years I worked in the Department of Curricular & Instructional Studies at the University of Akron in Ohio.  While there I earned my Associate of Arts degree in Office Administration and my Bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Communication.

I joined the Admissions office at UNC in 2010 as a Transfer Admissions Advisor and am now a Transfer Specialist in the  Office of the Registrar.
