UNC Campus Recreation Center
The Department of Campus Recreation serves the recreational and fitness needs of students and employees at the University of Northern Colorado. We strive to provide facilities, activities and services for persons of all ability levels with varied interest, as well as create a supportive environment to ensure every participant has a positive and successful experience.
The Campus Recreation Center is a multi-purpose facility with several activity spaces, including: a weight room for strength training and cardiovascular conditioning, three multi-purpose gymnasiums, an indoor jogging track, two racquetball courts, an indoor climbing wall, two group fitness rooms, locker rooms, administrative offices and meeting spaces, and access to the Butler-Hancock swimming pool.
What does Campus Rec 360 mean?
The Campus Rec Center provides an inclusive recreation experience which includes sports, fitness and wellness, strength, adventure, aquatics and more resources available to all UNC students. It is our goal to include student voice, equity, inclusion, mindful operations and programming to promote physical, emotional, and mental wellness in our industry-leading facilities. From Informal Recreation to Olympic Lifting Clinics, from skill-building workshops to hiking the Arches in Moab or skydiving trips. From beginner Group Fitness classes to advanced yoga, from Intramural Leagues to Club Sport national championships. We provide a welcoming, friendly, and helpful approach in every interaction, in every program area. We collaborate with academic and student services areas to understand how to best serve students and staff alike.
