Step 2: Prepare your Academic Plan

Prepare a list of questions and classes to discuss with your advisor, using the tools below.

Four year plans for each major are available for every active catalog year and outline a possible schedule of coursework to complete your degree in four years.

Step 3: Meet with your Advisor

Prepare a list of questions and classes to discuss with your advisor, using the tools below. 

As you prepare to meet with your advisor and review your academic plan, make sure you review the four-year plan for your major, and outline a possible schedule of coursework to complete your degree. You can look up classes in Ursa and begin to plan your Fall 2022 class schedule.

Be sure to look at course options for Interim Winter Session 2022-2023. Enrolling in Interim Winter courses can be a great way to get ahead. Registration is now open for Interim Winter Session 2022-2023.

Step 4: Clear Registration Holds

Check for holds on your account

In Ursa, select View Your Holds to find out whether any holds on your account prevent you from registering.

Do you have holds?  If there are any holds listed in Ursa, you will have to work directly with the department that placed the hold to have it removed. View list of common holds for information on who to contact.

Step 5: Register

Registration Instructions

  1. Log in to Ursa
  2. Complete Action Item - Financial Statement Responsibility
  3. Proceed to the Student Tab and select the Register, Add or Drop/Withdraw Classes link under “Register for Classes.”
  4. Choose the appropriate term and enter your PIN when prompted.
  5. Enter the CRN in the Add Classes Worksheet or search for the course using the Class Search button.
  6. When finished, click Accept/Submit.
