University Owned Houses
Thinking About Living in a UNC House?
If you’re a sophomore or above, you’re eligible to live in one of UNC’s university-owned houses—a great option if you’re looking for a more independent and home-like campus living experience.
Houses include a mix of single and double rooms, and room assignments are made by the Housing & Residential Education Office.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis
- Space is limited, and availability depends on the time your contract is submitted
- This is not family housing—just for UNC students
Interested? Reach out early to secure your spot—these cozy homes fill quickly! Let us know if you have questions—we’re happy to help.
