COVID-19: News and campus updates | University policies and resources

UNC Conference & Event Services provides full-service coordination for conferences, camps and events on campus. In light of the current COVID-19 operating environment, there are new procedures to keep in mind when booking an event on campus: 

  • Masks are required during all events (guests must provide their own)
  • Room capacities are set to adhere to all social distancing measures
  • Meetings are limited to 10 people
  • Indoor events are limited to 50 people or the COVID capacity for the room, whichever is less
  • Outdoor events are limited to 125 people

UNC Conference & Event Services provides full-service coordination for conferences, camps, and events on the University of Northern Colorado campus.  We work closely with many UNC departments and the City of Greeley to provide the highest quality experience for all who visit.  From your initial inquiry through the post-event details, a Conference & Event Planner will assist you with all your needs.

You must proceed through the entire survey until you see the "THANK YOU FOR SUBMITTING YOUR UNC SPACE REQUEST" screen.  Exiting the survey prior to this screen means your application will not be properly submitted.

Next Steps

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, we will be asking you to complete some additional steps to ensure that your planned event is as safe as possible and that it complies with all state and local guidelines surrounding the active pandemic. Due to this expanded process and our need to view and approve event plans from a larger, campus-wide safety perspective, the timeline below must be adhered to for the foreseeable future:

  • 4-weeks (28 calendar days) prior to event date:  CES Planner will email event client the most current COVID checklist plus details on additional requirements within the process
  • 3-weeks (21 calendar days) prior to event date:  Event client returns ALL completed COVID documents (COVID Checklist, detailed schedule of events, participant traffic flow chart, and seating chart if hosting an indoor reception)

Please understand that missing the 3-week deadline described above will result in your reservation being cancelled and the space being returned to inventory. It is essential that we receive these documents in a timely fashion so that we have time to review for any necessary changes.  As a state institution, we are bound to follow state guidelines and those local guidelines deemed more restrictive than the state‚Äôs, so please develop your plans accordingly.
