Before You Start Your Housing Contract

A little prep will make completing your housing contract quick and easy. Here’s what to do first:

Ready to lock in your spot? Here’s how to complete your contract:

  1. Log into the UNC Housing Portal using your MyUNC login.
  2. Find “Your Housing Applications” and click “View Applications.” You’ll see all contracts available to you.
  3. Click “Apply Now” next to the contract you want to submit.
  4. Answer all required questions—read carefully to make sure everything is correct.
  5. Click “Save and Continue.”
  6. Review the Terms and Conditions and confirm your contract.
  7. Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to go to the payment page.
  8. Once your deposit is paid, you’ll see a confirmation screen and get an email to your UNC BearMail.
  9. You’re all set!

Save the Dates: Housing Contract & Lottery

  • Monday, December 1: 2026-27 Academic Year contract  available 
  • Wednesday, December 31: Students completing the contract on or before this date will be in Priority Group A 
  • Thursday, January 1st – Saturday, January 31st: Students applying between these dates are in Priority Group B 
  • Sunday, February 1st – Saturday, February 28th: Students applying between these dates are in Priority Group C 
  • Sunday, March 1st: Students applying on or after this date are in Priority Group D 
  • Monday, March 16th: New Student Priority Group A room self-selection opens 
  • Wednesday, March 18th: New Student Priority Group B room self-selection opens  
  • Friday, March 20th: New Student Priority Group C room self-selection opens  
  • Monday, March 23rd: New Student Priority Group D room self-selection opens

2026 - 2027 Continuing Students - Arlington Park Apartments

Just a block from the University Center, Arlington Park Apartments is ideal for graduate, continuing and transfer students. Twelve‑month contracts are billed in three installments: fall, spring and summer. Live close to campus with the space and flexibility you want.

  • Have a roommate request? Make sure to create a roommate group after you apply.

Ready to secure your apartment? Here’s how:

  • Find “Your Housing Applications” and click “View Applications.” You’ll see all available contracts.
  • Click “Apply Now” next to the Arlington Park contract you want to submit.
  • Answer all required questions—read carefully to make sure your details are correct.
  • Click “Save and Continue.”
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and confirm your contract.
  • Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to move to the payment page.
  • Once your deposit is paid, you’ll see a confirmation screen and get a confirmation email to your UNC BearMail.
  • And just like that—your Arlington Park home is officially yours!

We’ve chosen North Hall so you can make the most of your summer—whether you’re in class, grabbing a meal or enjoying campus life.

  • Find the “2026 Summer – Extended Campus” or “2026 Summer – Extended Campus – ASLEI” housing contract (whichever applies) and click “Apply Now.”
  • Answer all required questions—read carefully to ensure your information is correct.
  • Click “Save and Continue.”
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and confirm your contract.
  • Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to move to the payment page.
  • Once your deposit is paid, you’ll see a confirmation screen with next steps and receive a confirmation email in your UNC BearMail.
  • Once complete—you’re all set for summer living in the Ridge Neighborhood.

2026 - 2027 Fall/Spring Early Arrival

We’re excited to welcome you to campus! Early move-in is a great option if you'd like to get settled before the semester begins. In some cases, it may be required if you’re arriving early for a campus job or a student group.

Before You Start your Early Arrival Request

  • Apply for housing and have selected a space
  • Know the date you need to arrive
  • Know the reason/group you are arriving if you are arriving with a group

Begin Contract

Completing the Contract

  • Log into the UNC Housing Portal using your MyUNC login.
  • On the Home page, on the left side of the page, look for “Early Arrival Request” under “Forms”
  • Click on “Early Arrival Request”
  • Enter the date the form is being submitted at the top of the page
  • Enter the date you will be arriving
  • Select from the options provided the reason you are arriving early
  • Carefully review the “Terms and Conditions”
  • Select “I Agree” to submit
  • Once you have selected I Agree you can view your completed form under “My Forms” on the UNC Housing Portal

  • Monday, June 22, 2026: Fall Early Move In Request available
  • Friday, August 14, 2026: Fall Early Move In begins
  • Tuesday, August 18, 2026: Fall Early Move In Concludes
  • Tuesday, December 1, 2026: Spring Early Move In Request available
