PVA Advising Center

The College of Performing and Visual Arts Advising Center is your resource for academic advising and program requirements. Our team of advisors help you navigate our major, minor and certificate programs. You also have faculty advisors to assist you along the way according to major, concentration, instrument or studio area.

Guggenheim Hall is where many art classes are held in the School of Art and Design within the College of Performing and Visual Arts at UNC.

PVA Internships prepare you for success in the job market. In majors like Graphic Design, you’ll get opportunities for field-based learning and gain real-world skills that enhance your coursework.

Center for Arts Entreneurship

The Northern Colorado Center for Arts Entrepreneurship connects the UNC College of Performing and Visual Arts with the local arts community. We support students, alumni and local artist-entrepreneurs and create opportunities for hands-on learning and real-world experience. The Center is open to all PVA students every week for free feedback and help on career readiness items!

Ways to Get Involved

PVA Sibs is your go-to organization for building instant connections and finding a supportive community within your major. We pair incoming students with experienced “sibs” to make sure you have the guidance and belonging you need to thrive.

You’ll have opportunities to showcase your talents and refine your skills in competitions like the Southard Art & Music Competitions and the UNC Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition.
