Summer Camps
Our camps are immersive ways for young students to dive into the arts during the summer.
Take advantage of these unique opportunities for your students to learn from our faculty, students and guest artists in various disciplines. Middle and high school students can stay on campus for six-day camps each summer to play music with friends at UNC Jazz Camp and UNC Band Camp.

Our Camps
UNC Band Camp
June 21-26, 2027
The UNC Band Camp is six days of friendship, fun, music, personal growth, and a taste of college life. Throughout the week, middle and high school students will participate in full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, rhythm classes and chamber music opportunities while learning from our applied faculty and amazing conductors. Students will stay in the dorms, eat in a college cafeteria and play music in our beautiful performance facilities. This is about more than just music! We believe some of the best camp memories happen outside the rehearsal room. Students will enjoy game nights, dances, video game tournaments, an action-packed field day with inflatables and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow musicians.

UNC Jazz Camp
July 11-16, 2027
Designed to be intensive, challenging, and inspiring, Jazz Camp invites you as a middle or high school student to be a part of a week of student big bands, combos, vocal jazz ensembles, jazz master classes, jazz theory and listening classes, student jam sessions, nightly faculty group concerts and a special performance by the Colorado Jazz Orchestra.
