October 20, 2023 — On Sunday, Oct. 29, 2-4 p.m., in the Michener Multipurpose Room, University Libraries is hosting an afternoon tea with Mrs. Frances Wisebart Jacobs, whose ground-breaking efforts to help those in need in Denver in the late 1800s led her to be known nationally as the “Mother of Charities” and led to the creation of United Way and National Jewish Health.
