Bear Pantry Opens For Fall—Volunteers Needed

With the opening of Bear Pantry for the fall semester starting on Monday, Aug.21, volunteers are needed. The program requires two volunteers for every hour the pantry is open.

Nearly 50% of UNC students report having been food-insecure at some point in the last year. To assist, UNC's Bear Pantry supports community members coping with food insecurity and relies on volunteers to do so.
