For individuals working on a free textbook or an open educational resource (OER) for a course they teach, the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) and the Colorado OER Council are offering a number of seats on the Pressbooks publishing platform for OER works created by Colorado instructors and faculty. This is for works in process or already completed works.

Pressbooks is an open access publishing platform widely used by the open education community to adapt, create and publish open educational resources. This is a value of between $120 and $400 annually per title.

Pressbooks is a platform for solo and group authorship that can make free textbooks or OER accessible to a wide audience.
