    The Holocaust in Comic Books – Panel Presentation

    On Saturday, Sept. 23, 3-5 p.m., in the Michener Multipurpose Room a will explore how the Holocaust has been portrayed in comic books, the importance of Holocaust education and resources and advice for teaching to Colorado's state standards related to the Holocaust and genocide studies.

    On Saturday, Sept. 23, 3-5 p.m., in the Michener Multipurpose Room a panel presentation will explore how the Holocaust has been portrayed in comic books, the importance of Holocaust education and resources and advice for teaching to Colorado's state standards related to the Holocaust and genocide studies. Panelists include Selena A. Naumoff, from the Holocaust Awareness Institute at DU; Erin Christian, a Gifted and Talented English Language arts teacher at Ken Caryl Middle School; and Helen R. Starr, the daughter of Holocaust survivors.

    The event is free and open to the public.
