BEARS FAN FEST
Join your fellow Bear fans of all ages for tailgating, travel, spirit and fun when you attend an upcoming Bears Fan Fest. Events are held during all home football games, select away football games and select basketball games and are open to all Bears alumni, fans and friends.
UNC’s Homecoming tradition goes back to 1923 when the Bears football team took on Montana State. Today’s Homecoming celebration includes some activities with decades of history and others that engage our university community in fresh and exciting ways.

Since the university was founded in 1889 as the State Normal School of Colorado, our alumni community has grown from an initial graduating class of twelve into an alumni association which engages over 130,000 UNC graduates around the world. Get to know the history and traditions of our community.
