Tutoring Center
The nationally certified tutoring program located in the Office of Academic Support & Advising provides students with broad-based, high-quality tutoring services designed to facilitate academic success at the college level. These tutors provide free individual and group tutoring sessions in approximately 130 different courses encompassed by the major subject areas of math, the social sciences, the natural sciences, and business administration.
How to Get Free Tutoring
To get started with your tutoring experience, stop by the Office of Academic Support & Advising (Michener L149). Students can schedule appointments in person at the receptionist's desk. A UNC student ID is required in order to schedule the first tutoring appointment. Appointments for tutoring are strongly recommended; walk-in slots are subject to availability. Both group and individual tutoring sessions are available. When you visit ASA, the receptionist can tell you the availability of subject areas and available tutor times
