Lead On Camp

Join UNC Housing and Residential Education for Lead On Camp, a leadership camp for incoming first year students Aug. 17 - 21, 2024!

Our one-week program introduces you to campus, provides leadership training and opens opportunities to get involved at UNC, making your transition to campus as smooth as possible.

Rolling applications are accepted until spaces are filled.

We notify applicants on their application status on a rolling basis throughout the summer.

Costs

Lead On Camp costs $150 per person. Cost includes: sessions, workshops, meals and a T-shirt.

Meet the Staff

Brecken Lusk (he/him) is a senior at UNC majoring in Psychology and Biological Science with a focus on Pre-Health and Bio-Med and a minor in Philosophy. Brecken is involved with the Residence Hall Association, National Residence Hall Honorary and Lead On, TriBeta, tutoring, D&D Club and Gaming Club. Brecken is looking forward to working with Lead On facilitators and incoming participants to create a fun experience.

Coordinator

Nathan Wetzel (he/they) is a junior Theatre Education major with a minor in English, and when asked to describe himself he said he is outgoing, caring and funny. Nathan has been involved previously with the Residence Hall Association and National Residence Hall Honorary and is looking forward to getting to meet new people.

Avery Ulric is a sophomore Psychology major with a minor in Gender Studies and Writing. Avery's favorite hobby is writing. Avery is excited to get to know everyone and experience new things.

Max Samsel is a sophomore Psychology major with a minor in Sociology. Max's favorite hobby is playing rugby. Max is excited to reach out to new students about safe resources that they have available to them. Max is excited to meet some new faces.

Coll Manuello is a sophomore Environmental Sustainability and Political Science major. Coll's favorite hobby is taking walks. Coll is looking forward to getting to know incoming students and helping them with their transition to UNC.

Gage Roderick is a junior Acting major. Gage's favorite hobby is playing video games. Gage is looking forward to meeting new participants and helping folks get excited for college.

Maxx Paur is a senior Psychology major with a minor in American Sign Language. Maxx's favorite hobby is playing video games. Maxx is looking forward to team bonding and relationship building.

Casey Moran is a sophomore Biological Science Secondary Education major with a minor in Spanish. Casey's favorite hobby is bracelet making. Casey is looking forward to meeting new people and helping first-year students get used to the campus because it can be confusing when you first get here.

Alex Hovick is a senior Mathematics major with a minor in Computer Science. Alex's favorite hobby is playing Minecraft. Alex is looking forward to helping first-year students adjust to college life and showing off Greeley.
