For UNC faculty and staff looking for the convenience of living on campus, we offer a limited number of housing options—most located in Lawrenson Hall.

Long-Term Leases

If you’re a UNC faculty or staff member planning to stay on campus for more than 60 days, we can help you get settled.

We partner with Scott Realty Co. to make the application process simple and straightforward for those wishing to live on campus.

Eligibility

  • Be currently employed at UNC
  • Provide information for a background check for all occupants
  • Pay a $50 application fee per tenant (for applicants/occupants over the age of 18 to cover background and rental history processing) – faculty and staff are typically over the age of 18.

Short-Term Leases

If you’re joining UNC for a short stay, we offer housing for incoming staff on the upper floors of Lawrenson Hall.

How to Apply

Fill out our short form so we can gather your information and anticipated move‑in date.

A quick note:
We’ll need 7–14 days to process your background check before you arrive, so be sure to apply early to keep your move‑in smooth and stress‑free.

About the space

  • 660 sq. ft. apartment in Lawrenson Hall
  • Fully furnished, including standard twin beds (see our Double Double apartment diagram for layout and furniture details)
  • You may remove university‑owned furniture if you prefer, but you’re responsible for storing it and returning it in original condition.

Rates

Faculty/Staff Short-Term Lease Rates 2025-26

  • $1,275 + 10.01% tax/month* **

*Future years Rates are subject to change pending approval by the Board of Trustees, these rates are generally approved at the June meeting of the board. See UNC Board of Trustees for more information.

**Taxes include City of Greeley 4.11% + State of Colorado 2.9% and Lodging Taxes 3.0%
