Summer Camps
Our camps are immersive ways for young students to dive into the arts during the summer.
Take advantage of these unique opportunities for your students to learn from our faculty, students and guest artists in various disciplines. We invite young students to explore the visual arts during a week-long day camp at Exploring Arts Camp. And middle and high school jazz students can stay on campus to play jazz with friends at UNC Jazz Camp for 6 days each July. Plus UNC Choir Summer Camp is a week-long, overnight experience designed for middle and high school singers who are ready to grow as musicians, performers and leaders.

Our Camps
Exploring Arts Camp
Exploring Arts Camp at UNC is a summer day camp for students age 9-11. You’ll experience a range of 2- and 3-dimensional visual arts mediums and work on several projects and artistic experimentations led by UNC visual arts faculty and students. The last day of camp will include a showcase of your work that your family and friends can come view.
UNC Jazz Camp
Designed to be intensive, challenging, and inspiring, Jazz Camp invites you as a middle or high school student to be a part of a week of student big bands, combos, vocal jazz ensembles, jazz master classes, jazz theory and listening classes, student jam sessions, nightly faculty group concerts and a special performance by the Colorado Jazz Orchestra.
UNC Summer Choir Camp
This camp is a week-long, overnight experience designed for middle and high school singers who are ready to grow as musicians, performers and leaders. Your ensembles will be grouped by age and skill level, and you’ll get to learn from renowned vocal coaches, educators and performers.
