Newsfeeds

Page Specifications

Select the Newsfeed page from your site’s navigation menu.

Artifact Sections:

• Ensure there are 5 newsfeeds with appropriate primary and secondary headings.
• Add updates to at least 2-3 newsfeeds to reflect current knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Updates don’t need to be long, but they do need to be meaningful and informative.
  • Use formatting features to indicate that the update is separate from the original newsfeed. Updates can use any language mode.
  • Update Notes Section as needed.

Introduction & Reflection Sections:

• Update the introduction and reflection sections to reflect your competence across the page’s new and existing artifacts.

NOTE: The introduction section is between the in-page navigation section and the first artifact header. 

Reference Section:

• Update the Notes section of each newsfeed and update as appropriate.

Overview Section:

• Ensure the page introduction is verbatim from the template.
• Ensure the School Interpreting Series (SIS) Standards are verbatim from the template.
• Ensure the in-page navigation matches the final page content.
• Ensure the in-page navigation is appropriately linked.

Review Preparations

As part of INTR 435, your School Interpreting Website will be internally reviewed and graded.

These final steps will ensure this page is completely polished and review-ready.

External Review Feedback:

• Apply the feedback provided during the external review. This feedback will be shared within Canvas.

NOTE: The external review feedback reflects patterns observed across your cohort’s website. You must check your own website for these patterns and evolve your content accordingly.
