Online Rental Returns

Students will receive email reminders 15-, seven- and three-days out that will include a free shipping return label. Students can log onto their bookstore account at any time to download the free shipping return label. The current rental return due date is Friday, May 8, however, the bookstore is allowing the students an extra 15 days for materials to arrive in-store before any purchase chargebacks are processed. Students are encouraged to return their materials in the mail by the May 8 due date in order for those materials to arrive on time and allow for adequate shipping.

Online Buyback

Students should visit this link on the bookstore website that will direct them to ValoreBooks. After receiving their buyback quote, students choosing this option will have 14 days to ship their textbooks back free of charge. Funds will be provided via their choice of check or PayPal.

In-Person Buyback and Rental Returns

From 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, through Thursday, May 14, there will be a physical location for in-person buyback and rental returns in the quad between the University Center and Campus Commons. The line will start at the fire pit, proceed outside, next to Sushi With Gusto, where the back door of the bookstore is located (view the map PDF).

Safety precautions will be in place including students lining up in a single file line marked with social-distance indicators and no switchback. Also, there will be restricted interface between students and store staff with the use of a clear shield for the upper half of the doorway for protection. Students won’t be allowed to enter the store or the UC, and staff will wear face masks. The default payment option will be gift cards; however, students can select cash or check.

Students are encouraged to order their textbooks for the summer and fall sessions on the bookstore website.
