UNC’s Fall 2022 Commencement Ceremonies, Dec. 9-10
The University of Northern Colorado is hosting its fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10. Approximately 927 students will graduate this fall with around 526 earning bachelor’s degrees and around 401 earning a master’s specialist or doctoral degree.

Graduate School Showcasing Student Research at Fall Symposium
Graduate students from the University of Northern Colorado are putting their scholarly skills on display during the fall 2022 Graduate Research Symposium on Tuesday, Dec. 6. This year’s symposium is the first of its kind, combining the university's biannual Graduate Research Evening with its second annual Northern Colorado Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition.

Students Explore Teaching Field at Future Teachers Conference
A year ago, Nayzeth Hernandez of Greeley was finishing the first semester of her senior year in high school, preparing to be one of 27 Greeley Central High School students attending the 2022 UNC’s Future Teachers Conference with their teacher, Lauren Appelhans ’14. Now, Hernandez is a freshman at UNC, with the perspective of a college student majoring in Elementary Education just finishing up her first semester.
