In light of Campus closure and as a precautionary measure regarding COVID-19, employees in the Disability Resource Center are working remotely in an effort to best support our campus community. We ask for your patience as some services may be limited and response time may increase. Staff are working diligently to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize health and safety. Updates will be published to our COVID-19 information page as the situation develops.

Requests may be made for any event, course or sponsored activity. This may include, but is not limited to, UNC theater productions, student organization meetings, and student meetings with faculty. We request 3 business days notice for all service requests; though not guaranteed, every effort will be made to fulfill last minute requests.

Please note, we cannot accept requests for events hosted at UNC by other organizations. In these cases, it is the responsibility of the sponsoring organization to provide services. For off campus events, it is usually the responsibility of the sponsoring organization to provide interpreters. Finally, we cannot provide services for any social occasions without UNC sponsorship. If you have any questions about the provision of Deaf Services, please contact Lisa.Benjamin@unco.edu.
