The Office of Financial Aid connects you and your family to financial solutions such as Grants, Scholarships, Veterans Assistance, Student Employment and loans to help you bridge the gap between what you can afford to pay for your college expenses and the cost of attending.
More than half of our students receive some form of financial assistance and the average amount typically awarded to a UNC undergraduate student receiving financial aid is about $10,000.
Applying is free, and aid is awarded both to students with a demonstrated financial need and those with a record of high achievement.
