Accepted Students

Visit AMP to accept the position and pay a $400 enrollment deposit (at least $150 due within 14 days of acceptance; remainder due by May 1). UNC COM will not proceed with processing your file for matriculation without receipt of the full enrollment deposit. Those accepted on/or after May 1 must submit their deposit within 3 days. 

Applicants who complete additional coursework after submitting their AACOMAS application must report final grades through the AACOMAS Academic Update process. During this period, applicants update their coursework in AACOMAS and arrange for official transcripts to be sent to AACOMAS for verification. Once verified, the updated academic record is shared with designated colleges of osteopathic medicine. All final transcripts must be submitted by June 12, 2026. If final transcripts are received after June 12, please email norma.juarez@unco.edu for additional instructions.

All applicants must attest that they can perform the UNC COM technical standards with or without accommodation via AMP. Applicants with questions before attesting, please contact the UNC Disability Resource Center at DRC@unco.edu or 970-351-2289.

To receive financial aid, please complete the FAFSA prior to the last business day of June. UNC Federal Code is 001349. Review Financial Aid Checklist.

To activate your account, go to MyUNC and follow the step-by-step instructions. (Important note: you will need to enter your Bear Number to activate your account.)

All entering students must complete a background check and drug screen. Students will receive a Complio Evite to their UNC email. This requirement must be completed by July 1^st.

All entering students are required to submit proof of immunizations. Upload supporting documentation using the COMPLIO/DISA evite sent by the admission office, which will be sent by early May. Please review Immunization Requirements. Please begin this process early to ensure you comply in time for matriculation. This requirement must be completed by July 1^st.

All UNC COM students are required to have insurance. Please visit the UNC Insurance Website to review Health Insurance Enrollment/Waiver information.

Student parking can be purchased by visiting the Parking Services website.
