child eating

The InfaNET website, created in 2008, provides nutrition education to child care providers. The website was developed out of an expressed need from child care directors and infant room teachers for infant feeding information, including breastfeeding education, breast milk preparation and storage guidelines and the introduction of solid foods. The InfaNET website was revamped in 2014 to provide child care providers with the most up-to-date and credible information on infant feeding.

UNC Lactation Stations

As a student, faculty or staff member at UNC, there are many options to support your decision to breastfeed your child when you return to work or school including two Lactation Stations on campus.

UNC's Breastfeeding Lactation Stations, sponsored by the Center for Women's and Gender Equity and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, serve students, faculty, and staff who choose to continue to breastfeed after returning to school or work.
