Longs Peak Science Fair Student Registration
Important Notice: All projects requiring critical forms, such projects involving human subjects, vertebrate animals, and microbiology, must receive prior approval from either your local school Scientific Review Committee (SRC) or the LPSEF SRC before any research activities begin.
- Students may not begin projects that require critical forms without approval.
- Any project conducted without prior approval will be disqualified from competition.

Please Note
Students who do not complete registration, payment, or turn in their forms by the deadlines will not be able to participate in LPSEF.

Before You Start Your Project:
- DO get all critical forms signed and approved by your school SRC or the LPSEF SRC.
- DON’T start your project until you have approval.
- If you skip this step, your project will be disqualified from the fair.

This year, LPSEF is moving to MySciFair for all student registrations! All participants must create an account to submit project details, required forms, and school information.

- Forms & Rules — Have questions about required paperwork? Visit our forms page to learn which approvals, adult sponsor signatures, or safety forms (e.g., human participants, hazardous materials).
Complete your entry by covering individual participant costs.
Registration is $35 per student, which covers your registration costs and lunch on fair day.
