Cocoa & Community

Hosted by the Diversity & Equity Committee
Join us for Cocoa and Community, a welcoming drop-in event centered on connection, reflection, and belonging. Students are invited to stop by the cocoa station, enjoy a warm drink, and participate in a creative community activity.
Participants will respond to the prompt “How can we make people feel like they belong in the campus community?” by sharing their thoughts on a sticky note and adding it to our poster wall. Afterward, students will receive a paper cup to decorate with inclusive messages or drawings inspired by one of the following prompts:
- What aspect of your identity are you most proud of?
- What’s something you wish people understood better about your background?
Decorated cups and the poster wall may be photographed to capture and celebrate our shared voices and experiences.
Date & Time: Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: McKee Hall, Small Lounge (next to 101W)
Swing by, sip some cocoa, and help us build a more inclusive campus community
