Earn Your Master’s in Multilingual Education – 100% Online

Our program helps language teachers build the skills they need to teach languages in the U.S. or around the world. We welcome both international teachers and U.S.-based teachers who want to grow their expertise and career opportunities. Because our program is online, you can learn from anywhere while balancing work and life. Most students finish in four to five semesters, taking 6–10 credits per semester. If you’ve already taken courses in applied linguistics or language teacher education, you may be able to transfer credits. This would reduce the total number of courses you need to graduate.

Hands-On Learning

In this program, you’ll get real experience to help you become a language teacher. You can work on projects like:

  • making lesson plans for local or international schools

  • creating language tests

  • helping teachers in classrooms

  • tutoring college students

  • teaching in community programs

You can also do internships, practica, or student teaching in the United States or in other countries. Some of our students have taught in Spain, China, and Thailand, gaining skills and cultural experience they can use anywhere. These opportunities will help you feel ready and confident to teach languages around the world.
