When to Register
You can register for classes at 7 a.m. on your registration day.
Registration dates for undergraduate students (Fall and Spring terms) are based on completed credit hours.
The hours do not include hours you are currently registered for.
Do not use the credit total shown in Degree Works.

When Can I Register?
New Student Orientation (NSO) is your first step to becoming part of the Bear community.
When Will I Register for Classes?
- First-Time First-Year Students attending In-Person NSO:
- During Orientation, you will complete both advising and registration.
- First-Time First-Year Students attending Virtual NSO:
- Advising and registration will begin in the first week of July.

When Will I Register for Classes?
Transfer students can begin academic advising and course registration as early as the April for Fall Start (August) Students and November for Spring Start (January) Students, depending on your college. You’ll receive specific instructions via email with your next steps.
Set up an Advising Appointment with your College:
Undergraduate students are given priority for registration based on the number of credit hours you’ve earned (not including courses you’re currently taking).
