Beyond the Classroom

Musical theatre students and faculty in Mexico.

At the College of Performing and Visual Arts, education doesn’t stop at the classroom door.

Our students gain real-world experience through internships, national and international travel, study abroad programs, competitions and awards. They also take part in hands-on projects with the Center for Arts Entrepreneurship and perform in our summer stock program, Little Theatre of the Rockies, where they collaborate with professionals and alumni to bring live theatre to our community. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, these transformative experiences—whether performing across the country or studying abroad—are accessible without overwhelming personal cost. Together, these opportunities help our students grow as artists, thinkers and global citizens.
