You’ll dive into real studio work in a program that’s recognized nationally for its quality. Our classes are small, so you’ll get tons of one-on-one help. You’ll try out different art mediums and grow your skills with guidance from our expert artist teachers.
Areas of Study
In the Art Education program, you’ll get the necessary tools to grow as an artist and educator in the 21st century. You’ll learn to use a wide variety of subjects, mediums and instructional experiences on your journey to becoming a professional teacher.
Our Graphic Design program prepares you to work as a visual thinker and communicator of tomorrow. We integrate practical application, theoretical understanding and investigative inquiry in your curriculum. You’ll be nurtured towards innovation and critical thinking as you learn visual literacy and conceptual problem-solving.
Our Studio Art concentration is the place for you as an aspiring studio artist. You’ll get a foundation in creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking and both digital and traditional art skills. You can choose to focus in one or more of the following areas for a personalized combination of courses: ceramics, drawing, integrated media arts, metals, painting, printmaking and sculpture + digital fabrication.
Art History & Studio Art Minors
Combine your major with a minor in Studio Art and get foundational studio art skills and the chance to explore different disciplines. Or minor in Art History to delve into the visual arts throughout time.
