Presidential Search Advisory Committee
The Presidential Search Advisory Committee will include representatives from students, faculty, staff, administrative leadership, the Alumni Board, the UNC Foundation Board, community stakeholders, and members of the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees will provide the full membership of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee by end of Spring semester 2026.
The committee will be co-chaired by Trustees:
- Dr. Stephen “Steve” Jordan ’71, Chair, Board of Trustees
- Annette Martinez ’86, Co‑Chair, Board of Trustees
- Barbara Garrett, Faculty Chair of the Department of American Sign Language in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences
- Britney Kyle, Faculty Trustee, Professor of Anthropology in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Teresa Castro ’21, Chair, Professional Administrative Staff Council, and alumna of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences
- Katriesa Hojio, Classified Staff Council
- Grayden Pustilnik, Student Government Leader, Student in the College of Performing and Visual Arts
- Dana Landry ’94, Director of Jazz Studies in the College of Performing and Visual Arts and alumnus of the College of Performing and Visual Arts
- Audra Yocum, Student Trustee, Student in Humanities and Social Sciences
- Quinston “Q” Daugherty ’97 & ’00, Alumni Board Member and two-time alumnus of the College of Performing & Visual Arts
- Brian Davidson ’99, Foundation Board Vice Chair, College of Medicine Advisory Board, and alumnus of the College of Natural and Health Sciences
- Rigo Rangel ’10 & ’14, Hispanic Advisory Council Member , alumnus of both the College of Humanities and Social Sciences as well as the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences
- Deirdre Pilch, Superintendent, Greeley-Evans School District 6
- Sheila Yeh, Dean of University Libraries
Additionally, the committee will be supported by:
