The UNC Records and Communications Center provides all support services for the Police Department.
The UNC Police Records and Dispatch Department is staffed by 7 full time staff members and various student positions, we operate 24/7, providing continuous emergency response coordination and accurate records management. We handle emergency calls, dispatch police services, and maintain all criminal justice records on campus; ensuring fast, reliable service for our community around the clock. Requests for new surveillance cameras has moved to the IM&T Help system, please submit a ticket to request new cameras to be installed or access to view cameras.
UNCPD Records Fee Schedule
- Fees are non-refundable
- Victims of crimes have a right to receive the initial police report(s) at no charge but are subject to fees for any subsequent police reports resulting from further investigation after the initial report(s). This does not include evidence, body worn camera footage, and 911 recordings. All parties are subject to fees for these items.
- All records requests must be accompanied by a signed Application for Release of Criminal Justice Records form.
