Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
UNC offers multiple pathways to a BSN to fit your background and goals.
The Traditional BSN program is for students who are starting college after high school or transferring from another school. Students must finish certain required courses before they can be admitted to the nursing major.
The Second-Degree BSN program is for students who already have a bachelor’s degree in another subject. It includes the same nursing courses as the Traditional BSN, but it can be completed in less time. Students must complete all required courses before being admitted.
The RN to BSN program is for registered nurses who already have an associate degree (ADN) and an active RN license. This program helps nurses continue their education and open the door to more career opportunities.
