Math Study Center

The Math Study Center is your go-to spot for free, drop-in help with many UNC math courses. Whether you need a quick question answered, help with homework, or guidance on tricky concepts, instructors are available to support you in your introductory math or statistics courses. For more structured help, like individual or group tutoring and Supplemental Instruction, check out Tutorial Services—they can give you extra support to boost your confidence and success in math.

There are math instructors available to help you from 11:15am-3:20pm on Monday through Thursday, beginning the first week of classes. You do not need an appointment; just come on in! 

Instructors should be able to help with most 100- and 200-level MATH courses, as well as math questions for other content courses (physics, economics, etc.). See below for higher-level courses.
