    The grounds of the University of Northern Colorado received a welcome living, breathing facelift last week. As part of Arbor Day and Earth Day celebrations this year, students, faculty and staff picked up shovels and got their hands dirty planting 122 new trees across the university’s 250-acre campus.

    The University of Northern Colorado is hosting its spring commencement ceremonies May 5-6, inside the Bank of Colorado Arena. This year’s spring class includes approximately 1,272 undergraduate and graduate students. An additional 342 students are expected to complete their degree requirements this summer and can participate in the spring ceremonies.

    The University of Northern Colorado announced the selection of Ken Colwell, Ph.D., as the next dean of the Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business. He will begin his new role July 1, 2023.

    Greeley Day at the Capitol Returns

    President Andy Feinstein, alongwithUniversity of Northern Colorado deans, staff and students traveled toDenver on Monday, March 20, for Greeley Day at the Capitol. The event is a collaborative effort between UNC and key leaders to promote the city and university with state elected officials.

    Along with the thousands of students learning on the University of Northern Colorado’s campus this year, there are about 125 of them that look a little different. If you’ve seen them walking through buildings or playing on Gunter Green, you may have noticed they're about half the age of a typical UNC student and their peals of laughter are an entertaining and welcome reminder of just how much fun school can be.
