Dan Satriana, UNC ‘s General Counsel, Announces Retirement
Dan Satriana, vice president, general counsel and secretary to UNC’s Board of Trustees, announced today that he will be retiring this winter. Satriana has been at UNC for 11 years, serving as the university’s attorney and primary source of legal advice.

Colorado’s Free Application Day Extended to Three Days
There are a few changes to the fourth annual Colorado Free Application Day. This year, it has expanded to three days instead of just one starting on Tuesday, Oct. 19 through Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021. During that time, the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) is waiving application fees for undergraduate applicants submitted by Colorado residents.

Moving to Greeley from Denver to study early childhood education and starting her freshman year as a first-generation student, Alex Archuleta had a lot to learn about the college experience. She has an older sibling also attending the University of Northern Colorado to help her adjust to the changes here and there, but a resource she relies heavily on is her advisors.

UNC Selects New Vice President for Student Affairs
University of Northern Colorado (UNC) has chosen Cedric Howard, Ed.D., as the university's new vice president for Student Affairs. Howard, who was selected through a national search the university launched last May, will start his position on Dec. 6, 2021.
