This spring, UNC is breaking ground on the new Empower Center, a $4 million, entirely donor-funded sports performance building. Thanks to these donors, including lead investors John ’84 and Angela ’89 Schmidt, UNC Athletics will continue their momentum in Division I with this world-class strength and training facility.

The University of Northern Colorado has initiated its own Free App Days where anyone, anywhere in the world can apply as an undergraduate to UNC without paying the $50 application fee. This is in addition to the state-initiated, Colorado-only Free App Day that takes place each fall.

UNC has named Arte Libunao as the new executive director of Extended Campus, which offers in-person learning opportunities in Loveland and Denver as well as distance online educational opportunities to students across the state, nation and world.
