The Management Department offers four specialized concentrations to help you tailor your education to your interests and career goals.

Learn how to make people’s day a little brighter with great experiences. This concentration will help you understand event logistics and operations, marketing strategies, and project management.

Do you want to learn how to hire the best people and keep them productive once they’re on the team? Concentrating in Human Resource Management helps you promote a fair and inclusive workplace.

Human Resource Management Concentration – Degree Requirements

This foundational concentration will teach about cultivating ideas and making them a reality. Learn to assemble and lead a team, cultivating a culture of innovation – and adapt to the ever-changing market demands.

The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLFS)

The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at University of Northern Colorado was started in 2018. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members.

The Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO) at UNC is a part of global network of over 250 CEO chapters across the country. Our mission is to inform, support and inspire students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation.

Human Resources Management Club

The HR Management Club is the official Society for Human Resource Management chapter for our college.  Our goal is to help students develop connections in northern Colorado and throughout the state that will further develop their HR knowledge and professionalism.

NSF EPIIC Grant

The University of Northern Colorado's Monfort College of Business received a $400,000 grant from the National Science Foundation. The funding will support entrepreneurship and workforce development along Colorado's Front Range, benefiting UNC, MCB, and the Greeley community
