My UNC
UNC is excited to announce the merger of Ursa and My UNC into a single platform.
In Summer 2024, UNC introduced a new mobile app called My UNC (URL: My UNC Mobile App to Improve Student Experience – University of Northern Colorado). The initial launch of My UNC was designed to replace the legacy UNC Mobile app. Since that time, UNC has been working to bring the functionality currently found in Ursa into My UNC, consolidating key information, services, and systems into one modern platform.
Beginning March 12, UNC IM&T, in partnership with departments across campus, will start transitioning the systems currently connected to Ursa into the new My UNC environment. This transition is expected to continue through March 20, the end of spring break. During this period—from the close of business on March 12 through March 20—both Ursa and My UNC will be unavailable to students while UNC completes the migration and verifies that all systems are working properly.
This migration will impact several campus services currently accessed through Ursa, including Banner Admin Pages, SSB, Xtender, and Insight reporting.
Once the transition work is complete, IM&T will redirect ursa.unco.edu to the new site, my.unco.edu, to support a smooth shift to the updated platform.
A test copy of UNC’s information (as of July 24, 2025) is available here: https://testsaas.unco.edu. While the data in this environment may be outdated, users can preview the familiar “Cards and Links” layout that represents the new My UNC platform. Because this is a test environment, many departments across campus are actively using it to ensure the system is ready for Go‑Live.
The My UNC Mobile App is a redesigned app from the University of Northern Colorado aimed at enhancing the digital experience for students, faculty, and staff.
