Apporto Virtual Lab
Apporto Virtual Lab is a web-based platform that allows UNC students, faculty, and staff to remotely access university software from any device, anywhere.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to accessing Apporto:
- Go to https://unco.apporto.com
- Click the Login link
- Select Student login
- Sign in using your UNC email address and password
- For support or troubleshooting, visit the Apporto Help Center

Limited Licensed Software in Apporto Virtual Lab
To request access to any of the limited licensed software below, you will need to submit a support request through IM&T Support Portal. (Tip: Use the keyword search bar to type “Apporto”)

Important Notes About Apporto Access:
- Microsoft Office is not included in Apporto. Faculty, staff, and students can download Office for free on up to five personal devices.
- Excluded Software: Adobe products, Apple-specific software (PVA), and other specialized applications are not available.
- File Storage: Do not save files locally. Use the Apporto Cloud Mounter to connect to your preferred cloud storage, such as OneDrive.
