UNC GSAW

Graduate Student Appreciation Week 2025

Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) will be observed March 31-April 4. We invite all offices and departments to do something memorable for graduate students during this week.

Monday, March 31: Gratitude Wall and Community Meal at 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Students are invited to visit the Graduate School (Carter Hall, room 2007) for a meal and an opportunity to connect with peers. The main activity will be the Gratitude Wall, where students can write notes expressing what they are grateful for. This is also a great moment for students to reflect on and share their accomplishments and what they are proud of so far in their journey.

Tuesday, April 1: Graduate Student Dinner and Coffee Social

Join us for a Graduate Student Dinner at Holmes Dining Hall from 5-7 p.m. This is a great opportunity to relax, connect with fellow graduate students and enjoy a meal together. Be sure to mention that you are attending a GSA event at the front desk upon arrival. After dinner, we will head to Margie’s Java Joint (931 16th Street) for a casual social. We hope to see you there!

Wednesday, April 2: Recharge Goodie Bag Giveaway

To support students’ well-being, we will be distributing Recharge Goodie Bags at your college. These goodies bags will be filled with items to help students relax and recharge.
