Custom International Programs

UNC’s Custom International Programs serve a broad global audience through flexible, high-impact educational experiences. We specialize in short-term programming, Intensive English courses, and workforce-ready professional certification programs that are designed to build skills, foster cultural understanding, and prepare students and professionals for success in a globalized world. Whether you're looking for custom English training at any level, continuing education professional certifications, cultural immersion programs, or business-focused internship experiences, we will develop a solution that fits our partner’s goals, budget, and timeline.
The Custom International Programs department in UNC’s Office of Global Engagement works closely with international educational partners, government agencies, and the private business sector to develop programs that meet each partner’s individual needs.

UNC’s programs are built to support inbound international students and global industry professionals looking to gain practical experience, language fluency, and cross-cultural skills in the U.S. We also provide custom education services for businesses investing in global talent development.

English Language Programs

Credentialed courses at all levels including Beginner English, Business English, Academic English, and Educator Training through our CEA Accredited Intensive English Program.

Corporate Training & Professional Development Programs

Certificate courses for global business communication, industry advancement courses, teaching English as a second language, professional development, and U.S. business etiquette for global business professionals. 

 

STEM, Arts & Business Tracks

Short-term academic programs for international partner institutions that pair academic seminars with lab work, workshops, industry visits, and/or project-based experiences.

 

Internship & Industry Immersion
