Through Lines is a series of interdisciplinary projects created by faculty members. These multi-part experiences in Campus Commons take you across artistic lines in a melding of music, theatre, visual art and dance.

Sadware

Sadware considers ideas of familial inheritance, class and consumerism by investigating the material history of pewter in the United States. Exploring sculpture, textile, printmaking and book arts, this project treats pewter as a case study on the complexity of American identity.

Bach Meets Modern Dance

Bach’s three Partitas for solo violin performed by our own professor Jubal Fulks meet the modern choreography of Sarah Tallman, Ballet Master and Associate Choreographer at Wonderbound Dance Company in Denver.

Canciones de mi alma (Songs from my soul)

This evening of Mariachi and Spanish Art Song brings together baritone Armando Contreras, pianist and music director Steven Aguiló-Arbues, narrator Eapen Leubner from Art Song Colorado and local artist Armando Silva. The works from this performance will also be recorded on an album made possible by Art Song Colorado.
