Professional Experience & Affiliations
- 9 years as a freelance pianist in most genres: jazz, classical, funk, rock, salsa, etc.
- Released 6 albums as a leader, recorded ~10 more as a sideman.
- Worked as a freelance copyist, arranger, and transcriber as well.
- Ran a small combo at William Paterson as a Graduate Assistant
- Currently run UNC Funk Lab, teach jazz piano lessons.
Research Expertise & Interests
Masters recitals were focused on the music of Ahmad Jamal and Mulgrew Miller.
