My name is Max and I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am passionate about psychology for underrepresented and marginalized populations. In my free time, you can find me lifting in the gym, going for a run, taking photos on a hike or eating delicious food!

I have several years of teaching experience along with clinical experience in a residential treatment center for youth. I also worked as the admissions coordinator for a community mental health treatment center before moving to UNC for my PhD!
