Biography
Dr. Heidi Mendenhall has been a member of the Opera Colorado Orchestra in Denver since 2012 and has been a freelance musician in Colorado for the past 25 years, frequently performing with the Colorado Ballet and Boulder Philharmonic Orchestras. A passionate educator, she maintains a private clarinet studio in Broomfield and enjoys leading master classes and coaching clarinet sectionals throughout the Denver-Boulder area.
Dr. Mendenhall holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her principal teachers include Thomas Masse, Bil Jackson, Ken Grant, and Daniel Silver.
