Biography

David Farrell is a lifelong musician and sonic aficionado. He pursued a degree in music
performance from the University of Northern Colorado after high school. Through the course of
playing, performing and recording found himself as an independent recording engineer doing a
fair amount of work at the UNC Recording Studio. After moving into a teaching position at
Aims Community College, he attended CU Denver to pursue a Master of Science in Recording
Arts. He continued at Aims as Professor of Audio for 17 years teaching and developing
curriculum for both Aims and Colorado Community College System. Most importantly, he still
plays a lot of music.
