When not at work, love to stroll the long aisles at Target, snuggle my cutie hound Ziggy, travel to new places, and connect with friends and family over Colorado’s finest breweries and snacks!

Education

Postdoctoral Fellowship: University of Colorado Boulder, Boulder, CO
Predoctoral Internship: University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO

MS: Clinical Psychology, Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL

I was born and raised in a small town in southern Illinois where I completed my bachelor’s degree. I earned my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology while in Fort Lauderdale where I gained experience in working with individuals in hospital, university counseling center, and assessment settings. I completed my predoctoral internship at UNC in Greeley and continued my training within a university system as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I had the privilege of working with a vast variety of identities, concerns, and stories. I deeply enjoy working within a university counseling center setting and individuals within a campus system. My passions include providing individual therapy, group therapy, and immersing herself in the campus community through outreach.

Professional Experience & Affiliations

Current Roles

I provide individual and group therapy services, crisis intervention, and supervision to therapists in training. As the outreach coordinator, I provide mental health outreach across campus, collaborate with campus partners, and create innovative ways to connect with and support the holistic wellbeing of UNC Students.

Therapeutic Approaches

approach treatment from an integrated perspective, while having a foundation in cognitive, interpersonal process, and trauma informed theories. I also utilize solution focused, mindfulness, and process-based interventions. Iembrace flexibility in the therapy space and meeting individuals where they are in their own process. I highly value the therapeutic relationship, and the connection made and aim to foster a collaborative environment.
