Our Purpose
The Educational Psychology Society (EPS) helps people learn about and use educational psychology in everyday life. We bring together students, teachers, and researchers who want to make education better. Our members share ideas, talk about important topics, and use proven methods to improve learning and development in schools, colleges, and community programs.
Our Goals
1. Professional Development
- Hold regular meetings with talks from EPS members and guest experts
- Offer workshops and training sessions to build new skills
- Run seminars on the latest trends, ideas, and methods in educational psychology
2. Promoting Research & Teaching
- Support members who are involved in research, teaching, and innovation in education
- Help members share their work at conferences, in publications, and through group projects
3. Networking & Resources
- Create a strong professional network for sharing funding opportunities, teaching tools, and research updates
- Connect members with experts, mentors, and collaborators
4. Community Service
- Use our skills to help schools, teachers, and students Share evidence-based strategies to improve learning via practitioner-based and local outlets

Any current UNC student is welcome. We support both Undergraduate and Graduate students.
No, all UNC students are welcome to join. However, we do primarily focus on helping educational psychology students.
