Campus Town Hall – September 15

Please save the date for an upcoming campus town hall on Higher Education Headwinds and UNC’s Financial Outlook.

By September 15, fall census will be complete, giving us greater clarity about enrollment and its effect on the university’s financial outlook. University leaders will discuss that information, the broader pressures facing higher education, and how UNC is planning thoughtfully for the future.

We recognize that conversations about budgets may create concern, particularly given the difficult decisions and workforce reductions UNC experienced last year. This town hall is intended to provide information and context, not to create unnecessary alarm.

We are sharing this date now because we are committed to timely and transparent communication. A formal invitation, including additional details about the discussion, will follow.
